I know it's easier said than done and it is the men who actually represent 'India' on the field face the real heat, but then that's what they are paid for ...and so are the players from other teams ...
Everybody knows what's the most popular sport in India:
Not hockey, ...Not soccer, ...Not tennis ....definitely not F1.....
Yet all we, the passionate fans, get out of it is pLain disappointment ...year after year ...tournament after tournament....
For some reason Cricinfo.com still happens to be in my list of favorite webpages ...if the s.o.a doesnt improve I will soon turn to NFL.com and NCAA.com

well am glad u realized it sooner! i gave up following cricket long time ago for similar reasons. so many emotions, time, energy gets invested that we r hurt by our team's performance every time. i think people shud stop watching the game, that way, nobody gets these advertisement offers & they get more time to focus on the game! ever seen peyton campaigning for any soda commercial more than the time he spends on the field? no, but u see tendulkar more on TV in ads than performing on the field. we should also start encouraging other sports more, like hockey or football for ex. lets all teach them a nice lesson!

I agree. Waise Peyton does a LOT of commercials ...and i mean a lot!!! but so does sachin n rest of the ind cric team ...atleast peyton has a superbowl to show for it ....we have what? a fancy win against the worst team in the world...Wish I could give up on cricket easily :(
